Handley Cellars produces wines from Mendocino County that reflect the climate and soil of Mendocino County, Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma County vineyards. The Estate Vineyard experiences cool foggy nights and bright sunny days, the perfect climate for the 12 acres of Pinot Noir, 13 acres of Chardonnay, and 5 acres of Gewurztraminer planted there.

The Estate Vineyard was CCOF certified in August 2005. Handley uses compost and mineral supplements to build the soil, thus fostering stronger plants that are less susceptible to disease. Handley does not use pesticides and herbicides, allowing beneficial insects to flourish. Learn more.
